Robbie Coltrane’s cause of death has been predicted by co-star Mary Margulies.
Speaking on Radio 4 on Saturday, Mary opened up about the Harry Potter star’s health concerns.
“He was a very good actor and a jovial man – he was big in stature and personality and heart too,” she said.
“I’m just angry that he’s dead, such a waste. He was extraordinary and I’m really sad.”
She added: “I didn’t know he was sick. He just put on a lot of weight, stupid boy! He knew it, I used to point the finger at him.
“It’s a waste to think about all that talent. He was great.
Ruby died this week at the age of 72. The actor last appeared in The Harry Potter Reunion: Return to Hogwarts.
