Rohit Saraf has finally spilled the beans about the sequel to Shahid Kapoor’s 2003 Ishq Vishk.
Rohit has been paired with Hrithik Roshan’s cousin Pashmina Roshan and Jabran Khan of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham fame for Ishq Vishk Rebound.
Talking about the film with JEE News, Mismatched star revealed that he is nervous about the film.
“I’m actually really excited. The nervousness comes before a project is going to be finished but there’s just a ton of excitement before that. I’m really looking forward to it. I think it’s something that The audience will enjoy, my audience will enjoy.
He also stated that Ishk Vishk Rebound has nothing in common with 2003’s Ishq Vishk, except for the fact that the two films share the same name.
He admitted that he will not step into Shahid’s shoes for the new film.
“I am not stepping into Shahid’s (Kapoor) shoes. The only thing that both the films, Ishq Vishk and Ishq Vishk Rebound, have in common is the name. It is a franchise that is common.”
“It’s not stepping into anyone’s shoes. It’s a very different story. It’s a new age love story. It’s a story of love and friendship in today’s world in 2023”, said Rohit.
Rohit Saraf was last seen in Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan’s Vikram Vedha.
