He urged people to be proactive in reporting any child labor or abuse.
“If any of you see a young child working in [someone’s] home or outside, or being abused, report it immediately. Report it to the local authorities.”
The Snuff Ahn starlet added that people should work together to put pressure on the authorities and protect children.
“This is not their age to work. This is their age to read, to play,” she said.
Sajal’s video message was shared by senior actor Nadia Jameel, who also shared a strongly worded message condemning the exploitation and abuse of children.
