Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards Ismail Rahu said on Wednesday that the intermediate examinations in Karachi, Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas will be conducted in two shifts from May 30.
Meanwhile, it may be noted that the HSSC Part II examinations have started in Sukkur, Larkana and Shaheed Benazirabad.
Around 489,000 students will appear for the HSSC Part I and Part II examinations, the minister said.
A total of 700 examination centers have been set up to meet the requirement while 390 vigilance teams have also been formed.
Highlighting the ongoing SSC exams, Rahu said around 3,565 students have been caught cheating.
During the ongoing examinations, 2,600 mobile phones were confiscated while more than 800 students were caught changing copies and giving exams in place of someone else.
