Moving on to the Supreme Court hearing, Qureshi said Monday would be an important development as a three-judge bench headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan would deliver its opinion on the PTI’s plea seeking delay in the elections.
He said that everyone agrees that the Supreme Court has the authority to interpret the Constitution. He hoped that there would be a good decision and PTI members would play their role in the assemblies.

Three judges are under pressure.

The PTI leader said that President Arif Alvi has started consultation with constitutional experts as the party believes that the issue cannot be resolved without constitutional amendment.
He said that there cannot be an independent democracy without an independent judiciary.
He asked all political parties supporting the constitution to stand aside.
He said that Imran Khan has decided to stand with the constitution.
