Popular Indian rapper Honey Singh recently revealed that it took Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan three weeks to approve his hit song “Lungi Dance”. The song, which featured in the 2013 film “Chennai Express”, became a chartbuster and fan favorite.
According to Honey Singh, he composed this song in just 30 minutes and sent it to the producers of the film. However, Shah Rukh Khan’s approval was required for the song to be included in the film’s soundtrack. The rapper revealed that the actor took his time deciding whether or not to include the song.
Honey Singh said in an interview, “I composed the song and sent it to the producers, but it was Shah Rukh Khan who had to approve it. He took about three minutes to decide whether to include the song or not.” It took a week,” Honey Singh said in an interview.
Despite the delay, the song was eventually included in the film’s soundtrack and became a massive hit. The catchy beats and Shah Rukh Khan’s signature “Lungi Dance” moves made the song an instant fan favourite.
Honey Singh, known for his chart-topping hits, also revealed that he is thrilled to be working with Shah Rukh Khan and is grateful for the opportunity.
