Karachi: National team fast bowler Shaheen Afridi arrived in Karachi along with his family to marry Insha, daughter of legendary cricketer Shahid Afridi.
Shaheen is going to marry the daughter of Pakistan’s star player on Friday, February 3.
According to family sources, Shaheen Afridi and Ansha will sign their Nikah Nama – a marriage contract performed by a cleric in Muslim weddings – now that the Rakhsti (dismissal) will take place later.
Fans will be excited to know that Shaheen and Ansha’s wedding preparations are in full swing and the groom and his family have reached the port city. The fast bowler was engaged to Ansha two years ago.
Sources told JEE News that there will be a henna ceremony tonight in the city of lights.
It is also worth mentioning that the wedding invitation for the event is going viral on social media. However, neither of the families have confirmed whether the card is genuine or fake.

In an interview, the 21-year-old revealed that he wanted to marry Afridi’s daughter. When host Sohail Waraich asked Shaheen about his engagement and relationship with Shahid Afridi’s daughter.
The cricketer shyly said that it was my wish and Alhamdulillah it has been fulfilled now.
During the interview, when Shaheen was asked if Ansha felt jealous about her female fan following, Afridi said that she was not sure about it.
“I’m not sure, maybe she feels the same way,” the cricketer said.
Furthermore, the host asked Shaheen about disturbing his female fans by getting engaged at a young age.
On this, Shaheen said: “I have found my heart and that is enough for me.
Wedding bells are also ringing for many other cricketers from Pakistan’s national side.
Then on January 20, Shan Masood got married in an intimate Nikah ceremony in Peshawar. Shaan tied the knot with the love of his life in Peshawar. He will be received in Karachi on January 27.
Three days later, all-rounder Shadab Khan married former cricketer Saqlain Mushtaq’s daughter in a private marriage ceremony.
Last month on Twitter, Khan announced his marriage to the daughter of the current head coach of the national team. Meanwhile, the cricketer requested people to accommodate him and his wife.
