Shahid Kapoor, who is gearing up to make his digital debut with Farzi this year, dropped the first look from the web series.
Farzi will premiere on Amazon Prime, the OTT platform. Shahid dropped a video for his fans revealing his character for the series which read: “New Year, New Maal.”
In small snippets, he can be heard saying: “New phase of my life. Will Logon like it? Per artist to artist happens no?”
The video shows him as an artist painting something on a canvas. The video ends with a zoom-in shot of a canvas with Farzi written on it.

Shahid’s new project was officially announced last year. This is the first official video announcement of the highly anticipated crime drama series.
Earlier there were reports that the Kapoor starrer will be released on Amazon in February 2023. “Shahid Kapoor’s digital debut will be in February 2023. The release plan is currently being worked out, but Farzi is ready to hit audiences before then. Closing first quarter of 2023.
According to a report by JEE News, Farzi also stars Vijay Sethupathi, KK Menon, Rashi Kahna, Amul Palikar, Kubra Seth.
