Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor tied the knot with Mira Rajput in 2015, before he lived with just two spoons and a plate in his kitchen.
Shahid Kapoor recently revealed in an interview to Instant Bollywood that when he got married, he moved into a new house and was comfortable living with just two spoons and a plate.
“When we got married, I had just shifted to a house and that’s how Mira came into this house,” the Bloody Daddy actor revealed after his wife complained about the lack of furniture. There are only two spoons and a plate in this house, how do you live?”
To which he sarcastically said that I live alone, how do you want me to live?
Recalling his response, he added, “He said we don’t even have seats. How are we going to serve people when guests come? I said ‘I don’t know, we order.’
The actor, who recently celebrated 20 years in Bollywood, said Meera redecorated his house the way she wanted.
“It’s a house built for family and that’s why we both worked for it,” he added.
Shahid Kapoor surprised everyone by marrying Meera Rajput as she is not from the entertainment industry. The couple has since become one of the most followed Bollywood couples and has two children together, daughter Misha and son Zain.
