Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon had to undergo medical treatment after suffering a heart attack on Saturday.
Sources associated with the medical facility said that the minister was shifted to the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) in Hyderabad after complaining of chest pain.
He added that after the preliminary medical examination of Memon, it was found that the minister had suffered a heart attack.
Mammon had two blocked coronary arteries, but angioplasty and angiography were performed to treat the medical condition, doctors said.
It should be noted that two cardiac stents have been placed in Lamb’s arteries to block them.
According to the hospital administration, Memon’s condition is stable and he will be discharged after 24 hours.
