Shehnaaz Gill was recently performing at an event in Mumbai where she was a singer, when she heard the call to prayer and did not move respectfully.

In the video, Shehnaaz receives her award for Lokmat Digital Personality of the Year, where the host asks her to sing a few lines. He says, “It feels great. Nobody deserves this award better than you. A few lines please, just anything. Whatever is in your heart, just sing those few lines. Your fans.” Eagerly waiting for your song. I request that people will not eat until Shehnaaz sings.
In response, she first says, “Should I sing an unreleased song?” And then immediately said, “No, that can’t be. No, I’ll sing a song that’s already finished.” She was about to start when she heard the Adhan and stopped there and bowed her head respectfully.
