LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said on Monday that Parvez Elahi is a member of his party.
He said this after meeting PTI President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in jail.
Chaudhry Shujaat’s son and Federal Minister Salik Hussain were also present. After the meeting, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain expressed concern about Parvez Elahi’s health and said that his feet are swollen.
When asked if Pervaiz Elahi is rejoining PML-Q, Chaudhry Shujaat replied that he is a member of our party.
When Pervaiz Elahi was asked about being the president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, Shujaat Hussain smiled.
It is worth mentioning that there was a lot of friction between the Chaudhry brothers. Earlier, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain had suspended Parvaiz Elahi’s party membership while later merging his PML-Q into PTI.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain is the chief of Muslim League-Q while Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi is the president of PTI.
