Sindh Minister for Minority Affairs Giyanchand Essrani has urged the dacoits in the riverine belt of the province not to harm their Hindu community who have been living peacefully in the region for the past several centuries.

The minister said that the Muslim majority in Pakistan has maintained friendly relations with the religious minorities in the country and tried their best to provide protection to their members.
He said that both our life and death are related to Pakistan. He said that the Hindu community in Pakistan has not done anything wrong, so their places of worship should not be damaged.
Security of temples in Sindh on high alert
Sindh Police Chief Ghulam Nabi Memon has ordered security high alert at temples across the province.
According to officials, 400 policemen have been deployed in various ranges and districts to ensure the safety of the temples.
Police personnel will perform security duties on administrative basis and all personnel posted in temples are being assigned security duties for two months.
Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) Memon appealed to Hindus to ensure all possible cooperation with the officials posted for security duty at their temples, saying that minorities and other communities living in the province It is the responsibility of the police to protect.
FIR registered for attack on temple in Ghoshpur
The Kashmore-Kandhkot police on Monday registered a case against unidentified assailants under provisions of the Anti-Terrorism Act for the attack on a temple belonging to the Hindu community in the slums of Ghoshpur, a small town in the same district.
