In another incident of harassment in Karachi, actress Srha Asghar has lodged a First Information Report (FIR) against a man, identified as Asim, alleging that he tried to sexually assault them.
According to police sources, the incident took place on August 1 when the actress had gone to the market for work.
The FIR has been registered at the Shah Faisal police station on the complaint of Umar Murtaza, who is Srha’s husband.
In the statement given to the law enforcement agency, Srha claimed that while she was returning from the market, a man started following her.
She further told the police that the accused followed her to her house and tried to touch her, which also tore her clothes.
According to the statement, Srha rang the doorbell and called her husband from the house. This also led to a fight between her husband and the accused.
Sirha’s husband and her neighbors then took the man to the police station.
JEE News contacted the actor for a comment but her husband refused to comment on the incident.
