Amid the historic success at the Golden Globes 2023, RRR director SS Rajamouli spoke about the film’s sequel, saying the team has a brilliant idea.
Making his presence felt on the red carpet of the 80th Golden Globe Awards, Rajamouli confirmed the sequel to his blockbuster RRR.
He added: “We toyed with the idea of a sequel when the film was released and received great acclaim. We had some good ideas, but not a great one.
“Then, when it started to be received in the West, a few weeks ago when we were discussing it again with my father and my cousin who are part of the writing team, a brilliant idea came up and we immediately did it. Started writing. But, until the script is done, we can’t take it forward, but we are in the process of doing it.
During the red carpet interview, the director was also asked who was injured the most during the shooting of the unusual action sequence to which he replied: “I never hurt them. I took care of them like children. . No one was ever hurt.”
According to JEE News, the song Natu Natu from the film RRR won the Golden Globes Award for Best Original Song.
