Doha: Pakistan lost 4-3 to Egypt in the final of the Street Child Football World Cup in Doha, Qatar on Saturday.
Pakistan won the silver medal in the World Cup after Egypt won the final of the tournament.
Pakistan had earlier defeated Brazil 3-1 in the semi-final match to qualify for the final of the event.
In the 2014 event, Pakistan secured the third position, which will remain Pakistan’s highest position in the mega event.
Street Child World Cup
The Street Child World Cup, under the banner of a non-profit group called Street Child United, has been held since 2010 before the FIFA World Cup. The last three editions of the event were held in South Africa (2010), Brazil (2014) and Russia (2018).
This year the event was held in Qatar from October 7 to 15. 26 teams from around the world participated in the tournament.
