Suella Braverman Resigned and Disarray of Vote Created an Uproar For PM

A chaotic day in Parliament has made Liz Truss’s survival even more uncertain following the sudden resignation of her Home Secretary and angry scenes during the vote in the Commons.

Opposition MPs alleged that some Tories were bullied and rigged to vote with the government.

A minister denied the claim, but many Tory MPs ended the day angry and disappointed by their own party.

Conservative MP Charles Walker said the situation was an “uproar”.

Visibly furious, he told JEE News there was “no going back” for the government.

He later added: “I expect the Prime Minister to resign very soon because she is not up to her job.”

Downing Street began on Wednesday with confidence that the Prime Minister was on firmer footing after the appointment of Jeremy Hunt as chancellor – and his decision to replace much of Ms Truss’s mini-budget – as it seemed. Markets are quiet.

She also escaped Prime Minister’s Questions – the weekly question session with MPs – relatively unscathed.

However, it wasn’t long before things began to look up for Ms Truss.

It seems almost impossible to bottle up and bury this chaos. An impact feels inevitable, perhaps imminent.

The passivity runs so deep, the anger among the Conservatives so deep, that as long as Liz Truss is Prime Minister, there can be no sense of calm.

So, what can the Prime Minister do next?

She may decide it’s game over—there’s no indication yet that she’s going to do that.

He can be told by his party that the game is up – the level of discontent within him is huge.

Or she can try to keep up.

Those who still support his point, rightly so, that finding a replacement prime minister is immediately difficult and even if he is ousted, it would seem absurd to many across the country. will come.

And thus will be a rallying cry for the general elections.

The life expectancy of the already imperiled young government is dwindling day by day.

The chaos may yet deepen.
