The visit to America was fruitful, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the purpose of the visit is to help the flood victims in Pakistan. He also expressed his determination that he has a lot of work to do.

Addressing a press conference in Washington on Thursday, he said that calling for early elections at this critical time is like playing with the lives of flood victims.

“The first priority is to help the flood victims; politics is a distant thing. What we do to evacuate the flood is not enough.”

He said that the Secretary General of the United Nations put the issue of floods at the top of the agenda during the United Nations meeting. He thanked the international community for the help given to Pakistan for the flood victims.

“We have not reached the reconstruction and reconstruction phase, we are still in the relief and rescue phase,” the minister said.

“You must have seen the improvement in the foreign affairs of the country during the six months of our government. Also, you should observe a clear difference between the Pakistan of today and the Pakistan of six months ago,” Bilawal noted. Noted.

Bilawal said that Pakistan is facing food shortage as crops have been destroyed by floods. He said that Pakistan faced massive floods soon after signing the agreement with the IMF.

He said that the CoVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine have led to price increases around the world.

Bilawal said that apart from flood, our agenda was to improve relations with America, the visit to America was successful. He said that further development is expected from the two countries in trade, agriculture, health and other sectors.

He suggested that India and Pakistan work together on climate change issues. He warned that if there is no agreement on climate change issues, the world will suffer.

Bilawal said that ten major countries affected by climate change must raise their voices together. He suggested the world to work together as this is the only solution to the problem of climate change.

He also criticized PTI Chairman Imran Khan and said that the PTI leader has damaged the country’s foreign policy and economy. However, Pakistan is back on the right track, he said, thanking God.

“It will be unfair if Asad Majeed [Pakistan’s former ambassador to the US when the cipher was delivered] is punished for any wrongdoing done by Imran Khan,” he said. He said that Asad Majeed is fulfilling his responsibilities.
