Former US President Donald Trump warned during an appearance on New York billionaire John Catsimatidis’ 77 WABC radio show on Tuesday that the ongoing war in Ukraine could accidentally lead to World War III and nuclear escalation.”More than anything else, I think we could end up in World War III,” Trump said when asked about the issues he was concerned about.”All the terrible things that happened in Ukraine, it looks like it’s going to happen in China with Taiwan,” he added.Catsimatidis noted that some believe that Putin would not have invaded Ukraine if Trump were still the US president.Former President Nate responded that he believed President Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan showed “weakness and incompetence” that further emboldened Putin to attack Ukraine. He added that the price of oil was very low during his tenure, arguing that the Biden administration’s climate agenda helped finance Putin’s war by raising oil prices.”You didn’t have to talk to Putin, because the numbers don’t allow him to do what he did. Because at $100 a barrel, the money he makes is too much to afford to fight such a war. Maybe that should never have happened. It started regardless, and it never starts,” Trump said.Trump also noted that they “filled the national strategic stockpile” that has now been depleted domestically and sold to China.
