Dubai: The UAE has lifted all restrictions related to COVID-19.
The announcement to lift all restrictions and precautions comes after 2.5 years since the epidemic swept the world.
According to the UAE government, wearing face masks in mosques, other places of worship, open spaces and closed facilities will be optional.
However, wearing masks will be mandatory in hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
The new guidelines issued by the UAE government will come into effect from 6 am today.
After the lifting of the COVID-19 restrictions, a green pass will no longer be required for entry into public facilities and government offices on al-Hasan application.
