Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Bawaal will have its world premiere at Eiffel Tower, Paris.
According to sources, Bawal is all set for its first screening at the Eiffel Tower in mid-July. With this development, the film has become the first film from India to be screened at the iconic building.
Sources said: “Bawaal will be the first Indian film to premiere at the Eiffel Tower. The premiere will take place at the magnificent Salle Gustave Eiffel, with a beautiful backdrop of the city of love.
“Apart from Varun, Janhvi, Sajid and Nitish, the premiere will be attended by film fans and French delegates, making it one of the biggest Indian film premieres.”
The idea of taking the film to the Eiffel Tower is a strategy to reach international audiences rather than just traditional Hindi cinema lovers.
Also, “Baval has a symbolic reference to Paris. The makers have shot some important parts extensively in Paris, and the city acts as a character in the story.”
A close source added, “The film is basically a love story set in World War II and the makers are all set to premiere the film in the city of love”.
Sajid Nadiadwala and Nitish Tiwari’s Bawaal is going to release directly on the OTT platform, Amazon Prime, reports JEE News.
