Earlier in 2021, Vikrant Massey and Taapsee Pannu collaborated for Haseen Dilruba, a romantic-crime-thriller film that was loved and praised by fans and critics alike; Another sequel of the film is getting soon.
After the success of the original film, fans were speculating about another installment as Taapsee dropped some hints. But now Vikrant has put an end to these speculations by confirming Haseen Dilruba 2.
While he was at an event, the Mirzapur actor confirmed the news and revealed that the film is in the works. “I am confirming that it is coming. A lot of it is going to be really different. A lot of new things besides me and Taapsee. It’s another crazy experience. We didn’t have these expectations before. “That it will be loved so much, the story, the world around the story. We got as much love for the film as we thought about it,” he said.
He added: “We left an interesting open-ended buffer for the second part and how we could do that and luckily for us the audience responded and now I’m going to start shooting it in 15 days. Please go and watch the movie.”
The romantic thriller became the most watched Hindi movie on Netflix in 2021. It also featured Harsh Vardhan Rane, Aditya Srivastava, Dayashankar Pandey, Shivaji Satam and Alka Kaushal. Haseen Dilruba released on 21 July 2021.
Meanwhile, Vikrant Massey has completed shooting for the film 12th Fail. As reported by JEE News, he will be seen in Gaslight opposite Sara Ali Khan and Sector 36 opposite Deepak Dobryal.
