The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said on Saturday that the weather in Karachi is likely to remain hot and humid during the next 24 hours, with drizzle in the morning and night.
The weather department added that the city will be partly cloudy throughout the day, with the maximum temperature touching 36 degrees Celsius.
The air humidity is 57 percent and winds are blowing from the southwest at a speed of 27 kmph, the department said.
According to the local weather forecaster, some parts of the city received drizzle and thundershowers last night under the influence of heavy sea clouds. Northern and eastern areas of the city received mostly light rain.

Moreover, most parts of the country are likely to experience hot and humid conditions during the next 12 hours.
However, Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir are likely to experience rain, wind and thundershowers. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain at few places in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
