According to a report by monitoring website Downdetector, Meta-owned messaging app WhatsApp has been blocked in several countries.

The outage is reportedly affecting personal chats and group chats.
However, WABetaInfo, a platform that tracks app-related developments, shared that WhatsApp “is experiencing an issue connecting to the server”.
