While interacting with the media in Karachi, Khan emphasized on the presence of match-winners in the squad.
Confident in his abilities, he said: “I am very confident that Pakistan will finish in the top four in the World Cup. Because there are match-winners in the team who can win you a match on any given day.”
He emphasized the need to have a strong plan for every game. We have good fast bowlers as always and they will be our strength. We need to play as a unit.
Khan is one of Pakistan’s most successful batsmen of all time. He is the only Pakistani batsman to score 10,000+ runs in Test cricket.
Talking about the Pakistan vs India game, Khan advised Babar Azam to stay calm. He said that the match against India is always a pressure game. Babar needs to make plan A and B to win against India.
Pakistan has never beaten India in the ODI World Cup. In 2021, they won the T20 World Cup for the first time against India.
