ISLAMABAD: KP Information Minister Feroze Jamal Shah on Sunday said that 1,200 social media trolls recruited by the PTI government on contract in the Information Department are still being paid Rs 25,000 per month.
Speaking on program, the PTI government has hired a total of 5,000 social media influencers in various departments.

He said that the contract of 1200 media workers will expire in three months. He lamented that Rs 150 million is being paid as salaries to social media workers but no institution has money to feed blind children or procure medicines for KP hospitals.
He said that the bureaucracy is not cooperating with the caretaker government of KP.
