Disgruntled PTI leaders Aleem Khan and Aoon Chaudhry met PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif separately at his residence in London, Reported.
PMLN Vice President Maryam Nawaz was also present with Nawaz Sharif in the meetings.
Aleem Khan did not speak to the media and left after the meeting. Refusing to divulge anything about the meeting, Aleem Khan said, “I will refrain from discussing politics.”
Talking about the weather, the weather in London will not have any effect on the politics of Pakistan.
Aleem Khan left Imran Khan after the overthrow of the PTI government in April this year. Aleem Khan openly supported Hamza Shahbaz in the election of Chief Minister of Punjab. Chaudhry also withdrew his support for Imran Khan and supported estranged PTI leader Jahangir Khan Tareen before the PTI government was toppled.
Speaking to the media after the two-hour long meeting, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Sports and Tourism Aoon Chaudhry said that Pakistan needs Nawaz Sharif at this critical juncture. He said that the nation will hear the good news very soon.
Talking to the media, he said, “Don’t ask me anything today, we pray that Nawaz Sharif comes to Pakistan soon.”
He said that the Punjab government will collapse under its own burden.
In a meeting with the PML-N chief, Aoon Chaudhry informed Nawaz about the number of PML-N members to initiate change in Punjab. Both discussed issues related to Center and Punjab.
Adviser will leave for Pakistan today with some important instructions from Nawaz Sharif.
Chaudhry also apprised Nawaz about the government’s measures related to the rehabilitation of flood victims and control of inflation.
