As Soon As He Left for London to Meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Important Decisions are Ahead

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has left for London after completing a two-day visit to Egypt, JEE News reported on Wednesday.

Important decisions are expected in the next 24 hours as Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will meet PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif after his arrival in London. Sources say that the prime minister will discuss the issue of long march apart from the political and economic situation in the meeting with the leader of Muslim League (N).

The Prime Minister’s two-day visit concluded after high-level engagements in and around the summit where he also held bilateral meetings with his counterparts.

Information and Broadcasting Minister Maryam Aurangzeb said that the Prime Minister has left for London on a private visit after attending the COP27 conference.

In Egypt, Prime Minister Shehbaz attended the Climate Implementation Summit COP-27. After addressing the COP27 summit, the Prime Minister wrote on Twitter: “Off to Pakistan”.

At the airport, the Egyptian government and senior officials of the Pakistani embassy in Egypt bid farewell to the Prime Minister and his delegation.

During the visit, he attended several high-level events, held bilateral meetings with his counterparts and also interacted with the international media. During the visit, he was accompanied by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Climate Change and Information and the Minister of State for External Affairs.

Prime Minister’s Special Assistants Syed Fahad Hussain and Syed Tariq Fatemi were also part of his delegation.

At the Climate Summit, the Prime Minister co-chaired a high-level roundtable discussion with his Norwegian counterpart on “Climate Change and the Sustainability of Vulnerable Communities”.

He attended the “Middle East Green Initiative Summit” hosted by Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman.

The regular part of the COP-27 conference will continue till November 18.

As the current chair of the Group of 77 and China, Pakistan is leading developing countries in climate change negotiations, including in thematic areas such as environmental finance, adaptation, mitigation and capacity building.

Pakistan Has Lost 30 Billion Dollars: Shahbaz Sharif
Yesterday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif while addressing the COP27 United Nations Climate Summit said that more than 30 million people in Pakistan have been severely affected. , more than 3 crore people were affected. Thousands of kilometers of railway tracks were affected.

He said that climate change is a shared responsibility.

At the summit – alongside Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stør – the Prime Minister co-chaired a high-level roundtable discussion on “Climate Change and the Sustainability of Vulnerable Communities”.

World leaders, policymakers and delegates from nearly 200 countries are in Egypt for the summit, which opened with an agreement to negotiate compensation for poorer countries for the mounting damages linked to global warming.

The Prime Minister highlighted that Pakistan has suffered a loss of $30 billion despite having the lowest carbon emissions in the world.

He told world leaders that widespread flooding and unusual rains had caused widespread devastation. He said that about 8,000 km long roads and 3,000 km long railway tracks have been affected by floods in Pakistan.
