The Central Sighting of the Crescent Committee has announced that the moon of Ramadan has been sighted and the first date of the holy month will be on Thursday (tomorrow).
This was announced by Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, Chairman of the Central Viewing of the Crescent Committee, in a press conference in Peshawar on Wednesday evening.
According to reports, the moon of Ramadan was not seen in India and Bangladesh.
However, Saudi Arabia and most of the Gulf states will start the fasting month from Thursday (tomorrow).
