According to the police, at least two people were killed and 28 injured in a shooting incident in the American city of Baltimore on Sunday.
Police are investigating the latest gun violence incident in the 800 block of Gretna Court that left three people in critical condition.
JEE News reports say the incident took place in the Brooklyn Homes area south of the city in the state of Maryland where people had gathered for an event called “Brooklyn Day”.
An 18-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene and a 20-year-old man died of a gunshot wound at a local hospital, police said.

As police arrived at the scene, nine people were taken to local hospitals, and 20 victims were transported to area hospitals throughout the area.
However, no arrests have been made, police are taking the help of nearby CCTV cameras to identify the accused.
Acting Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Varley said: “Police received multiple calls just after 12:30 p.m., and found one woman dead and nine other people with gunshot wounds.”
Varley said there is no information on suspects or a motive at this time, but investigators are “working an extensive crime scene.”
Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott called the incident “a reckless, cowardly act that took place here that changed many lives forever and cost two lives.”
He said the tragedy “highlights the impact and need to address the over-prevalence of illegal guns on our streets and the ability for those who shouldn’t have them to get their hands on them.” “
The mayor also said he is mobilizing every resource available to assist in the investigation.
His message to the criminal was simple: “We won’t stop until we find you – and we will find you.”
“Until then, I hope that with every breath you take you think about the lives you’ve taken and you think about the lives you’ve touched here tonight. are,” he added.
