Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has accused former Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and former spy General (retd) Faiz Hameed of facilitating Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan till November 28, 2022.
The minister also denied that General Bajwa is going to retire in November.
The minister endorsed the statement of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior vice-president Maryam Nawaz who, while addressing a rally on February 2, claimed that her party’s [original] rule on November 28 After it started before that date, PTI chief’s mentor was present.

Rana Sanaullah claimed that Imran Khan’s long march was related to the appointment of a new army chief and he tried to destroy the institution to achieve his goals.
The federal minister raised questions about the motives behind the November 26 long march led by Imran Khan, which he believed was not just a protest.
The minister said that Imran Khan’s May 25 campaign failed mainly because of the Muslim League-N government at the centre.
It should be noted that former Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa retired from the post on November 28, 2022, a few days after which former ISI chief Faiz Hameed also voluntarily retired from the army.
