ISLAMABAD: Beleaguered PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday urged the judiciary and the establishment not to be party to the London Plan.

In a video address to the nation from his residence Zaman Park in Lahore, tear gas shells and bullet marks were shown on the table, Imran dismissed the allegations leveled against him in the Tosha Khana case as baseless and frivolous. .

The PTI chief said that there was no protection of his life in the court where he was summoned.

“I only asked for security,” he said, adding that there was no security during his last appearance at the Lahore High Court and Islamabad High Court, according to local media reports.

Expressing his disappointment, he said that it was the same people in the government who were behind the Wazirabad attack.

“It is unprecedented that a former prime minister faces an assassination attempt and is subsequently denied security. This is the security we are seeking in court and this judge has responded. issued a warrant for me,” said Imran.

The PTI chief said that the warrant only said that the police should ensure his appearance in court.

Imran said he had packed his bags and was ready to leave but “all our workers knew that they were facing torture in custody and that is the fear they were fighting outside last night”.

“Since my dismissal, I have tried my best not to cause any violence in this country,” he said, adding that PTI has always been peaceful and whenever any untoward incident happened So the event was cancelled. in the interest of the country.

Addressing powerful circles, he said, “If they care about Pakistan, they should take a look at where the country is heading”.

Imran said he had no control over the crowd outside his residence and warned that if the attacks continued, the matter would get out of hand.

“All our hopes are pinned on the judiciary and the establishment,” he said, urging them not to take sides in the London plan and end the ongoing spectacle.
