Federal Energy Minister Khurram Dastgir has confirmed that talks between the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the coalition government on the elections are ongoing.
While talking to the media in London, the federal minister denied the rumors of deadlock and said that the door of negotiations with PTI is open.
He further said that talks with Imran Khan’s party are taking place directly through Senate and President Arif Alvi.
Dastgir also held the PTI government responsible for the current gas crisis in the country.
He said that no gas purchase deal was done during PTI’s tenure while Pakistan will continue to face energy related challenges.
