LAHORE: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Sunday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan wants to spread unrest to achieve his agenda of destabilizing the country.

He said that Nawaz Sharif is the first prime minister whose government completed the IMF program. They said that Imran played the audio of PMLN leader Maryam Nawaz and tried to compare her with him but once again he failed in his political agenda of defaming Maryam. He claimed that Imran has been badly exposed before the public and his own workers.

The minister said that the Tehreek-e-Insaf chief had conspired against Sypher and his alleged friend Malik when his government was dismissed through a no-confidence vote. He reminded that PTI’s baseless allegations have affected relations with Pakistan. When Imran realized his mistake, he started backtracking from his narrative.

The Information Minister said that PTI is the party which attacked national institutions including PTV in Islamabad. PTI was involved in horse-trading during the Senate elections, evidence of which was also found in the form of audio leaks.

In response to a question, the federal minister said that PTI made every effort to thwart the talks with the IMF. The audio leak of a phone call between the former KP chief minister, finance minister and Punjab finance minister, who were talking about writing to the IMF to stop the deal with the government, also shows that the party Not sincere with
