LAHORE: Despite Imran Khan’s Chief of Staff Senator Shibli Faraz’s claim that the former Prime Minister was not in Zaman Park, the former Prime Minister is currently at his residence in Lahore, who has joined the party’s “Jail Bharu Movement” (Arrest Court).
Addressed the workers participating in the movement. ).Imran Khan’s appearance came as a crowd of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers gathered at Zaman Park after Islamabad police arrived at former prime minister Imran Khan’s Lahore residence to arrest him in the Tosha Khana case.
Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal of a court in Islamabad had issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for the former prime minister on February 28 for not appearing in court continuously in the Tosha Khana case.
An official of Islamabad Police while talking to the media at Zaman Park said that due to Khan’s continuous absence, he was in Lahore on the order of the court.
The official said that they had reached Zaman Park under the leadership of a Superintendent of Police (SP).
“We have the help of the Lahore police,” an Islamabad police official told the media.
IG Islamabad while talking to JEE News said that officials are present in Zaman Park to arrest the PTI leader.
The Islamabad police chief warned, “I appeal to people not to obstruct the police in implementing court orders. Doing so would be a crime.”
