Addressing a press conference on Friday, the Muslim League (N) leader said that Imran Khan benefited from General Bajwa’s NRO and had to disqualify Jahangir Tareen as collateral damage. Khan’s allegations
In his address on Thursday, the PTI chief claimed that “crooks” are getting a clean chit today under ‘NRO II’ given by former COS Qamar Javed Bajwa.
In his address via video link, Khan made these remarks in the backdrop of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s son Salman Shehbaz returning home after ending his four-year self-imposed exile in London.
Khan said that General (Rtd) Bajwa wronged the country by giving NRO-II to a bunch of corrupt elements.
Criticizing the former army chief, the PTI reiterated that his government was overthrown by a conspiracy and thieves were imposed on the country.
Khan said: “Salman Shehbaz, who was absconding in the Maqsood Peon (Ramadan Sugar Mills peon) case, has also returned and lectured us, while Nawaz Sharif is planning to return home.”
The former prime minister further said that the cases against Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur have been dropped.
