Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that although there is no possibility of arresting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, the statements of the former prime minister are making him think.

Speaking to reporters in London on Friday, Sanaullah said, “At the moment, I am not in favor of arresting Imran, however, when I hear the kind of statements he is making, I am forced to think. I am going to arrest them.”

“He should be arrested at once so that we can witness the kind of storm he claims he wants to create,” the interior minister said, prompting Khan to kill his Wazirabad. Alleged involvement in the attempt. However, the minister has categorically rejected these allegations.

Sanaullah also said that the First Information Report (FIR) against PTI senior vice-president Fawad Chaudhry – which includes the allegation of sedition – is not objectionable.

Sanaullah noted, “Those who are claiming that the case is framed for abuse should read the FIR. They will know that it was registered by the Election Commission.”

The Interior Minister said that the Election Commission took action against Fawad Chaudhry for speaking against him.

Fawad, a former federal minister, was arrested from his Lahore residence on Wednesday morning after he publicly “threatened” Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) members and their families in a media talk a day earlier. “It was given.

He was then taken to Islamabad, where the capital’s police granted the PTI leader’s two-day remand in a sedition case. His arrest drew criticism from within the ranks of the federal government – which, however, has denied involvement.

Today, an Islamabad court sent him on 14-day judicial remand after rejecting the police’s request to extend the physical period.

Senior politicians including Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders Raza Rabbani and Farhatullah Babar and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN)’s Mossadiq Malik have condemned the coup charge against Fawad and demanded That they should be removed immediately.
