Former prime ministers Imran Khan and Nawaz Sharif are adversaries but were somewhat on the same page on Saturday, condemning US President Joe Biden’s remarks calling Pakistan an “uncoordinated nuclear weapon”.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) supremo and three-time prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan’s program is not a threat to any country.

Nawaz said that Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state which is fully capable of protecting its national interests while respecting international laws and practices.

The Muslim League (N) supremo said that like all independent states, Pakistan also reserves the right to protect its independence, sovereign state and territorial integrity.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that he has two questions for the American President.

Based on what information has President Biden come to “unforced conclusions” about Pakistan’s nuclear capability? Imran said that after being the prime minister, I know that we have the most secure nuclear command and control system.

The PTI chief questioned that unlike the US which has been involved in wars around the world, when has Pakistan shown aggression especially after nuclear weapons.

He said Biden’s statement showed the total failure of the foreign policy of the imported government and its claims to “restore relations with the United States”.

US President Joe Biden has said that Pakistan can be among the most dangerous nations in the world, calling it a nuclear weapon without coordination.

He made the remarks Thursday during a reception for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in Los Angeles.
