Imran ready for talks with PDM government: JI chief

Islamabad: Is Imran Khan ready to negotiate with the PDM government? Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq claims that both parties have agreed to discuss and discuss the ongoing political crisis in the country.

Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami confirmed to JEE News that he met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and discussed the ongoing political crisis with him. According to the JI chief, the current economic, constitutional and political crisis calls for politicians to sit down and find a solution. The JI chief told JEE News, “I have informed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif that the ongoing crisis cannot be resolved by any single political party or leader. Therefore, it is necessary to take the country out of the quagmire.” All the leaderships have met. Prime Minister Imran Khan has agreed to talk with all the political leaders of the country.

Amir Jamaat-e-Islami further said that he met former Prime Minister Imran Khan yesterday (Saturday) before meeting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. According to the JI chief, Imran Khan also expressed his willingness to negotiate with the PDM government.

The JI chief will also meet the leaders of other political parties and persuade them to come together for the good of the country. He will also consult with other key stakeholders to bring the country out of the crisis through meaningful national dialogue.

Apart from the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has also formed a three-member committee comprising former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, Naveed Qamar and Qamar Zaman Kaira to create a political consensus in the ruling coalition. Dialogue with political parties The committee has held several meetings with the leadership of the ruling coalition, including Shahzain Bugti, Mohsin Dawar and others.

It is important here that the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Umar Atta Bandyal, also emphasized on dialogue between all political leaders. During the hearing of the election delay case last month, the Chief Justice asked the lawyers representing the political parties to consult their leadership about the elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. However, none of the leaders were willing to talk to each other at that time.

When contacted, former Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Chaudhry confirmed to JEE News that the JI chief had met Imran Khan. The party has issued a press statement in this regard.

According to the statement, Imran Khan is ready for negotiations within the constitutional limits. In the press statement, it was said that during the meeting, the JI chief proposed to form a committee for negotiations on the upcoming elections.

JEE News sent a query to Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, but she did not respond to this writer’s query.
