Islamabad High Court has extended Imran Khan’s arrest warrant till May 31.

In the latest instance of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan getting blanket relief from the country’s judiciary, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday ordered against his arrest in further cases. Extended till May 31.

The development came during the hearing of PTI’s petition seeking details of all cases filed against Khan, which claimed that more than 100 cases were registered against the PTI chief.

The federal government – represented by the Additional Attorney General of Pakistan, the Advocate General for Pakistan and the state counsel – sought time from the court to provide details of the cases against the PTI chief.

The court granted their request and adjourned the hearing till May 31.

IHC orders release of Maleeka Bukhari, Ali Muhammad Khan

In a separate case, the IHC also quashed the detention of PTI leaders Malika Bukhari and Ali Muhammad Khan.

Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb ordered the immediate release of the two politicians.
