Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz has called Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan about former Chief of Army Staff General (Rtd) Qamar Javed Bajwa as his “Super King”. Criticized for the remarks.
“If General Bajwa was ‘Super King’ at that time, what were you his servant?” Maryam said while addressing the party leaders in Lahore on Tuesday.
In a televised address last week, the former prime minister had termed the ex-military leader a “super king”, saying General (r) Bajwa had done the same during PTI’s rule.
Criticizing Khan, Maryam said that the PTI chief kept meeting the former army chief even after his government was toppled.
He said that earlier you said that no one like General (R) Bajwa helped me and today you say that Qamar Javed Bajwa brought down my government.
According to Maryam, Khan lacked a national economic plan, and “violence, bloodshed and mayhem” were his agenda.
“I already mentioned that the Cipher issue was nothing more than a hoax,” he added.
Continuing to criticize the former prime minister, the PML-N leader questioned him as to how he could sleep well at night after telling so many lies. He said that everyone knows how PTI used religion for its political interests.
Maryam said that taking a U-turn means lying. “Others were labeled as foreign agents under false narratives, and cut ties with the US and the West,” he added.
He said that the youth of Pakistan are not incompetent like Khan. The PML-N leader claimed that a systematic campaign was launched against the opposition political forces as part of a planned conspiracy.
All praises are for Allah, those who badmouth Nawaz Sharif are calling each other Mir Jafar and Mir Sadiq.
He further said that the current government has to respond to the false narrative of the PTI chief.
“He [Khan] escaped after luring people under the guise of jobs. In the current economic situation, we [the government] cannot provide new jobs,” he said, adding that it was Khan’s wish that Pakistan should Become Lanka.
