The court of Special Magistrate Rawalpindi has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah.
The warrants were issued on Saturday. According to reports, the warrants were issued for his failure to appear before the Anti-Corruption Establishment Punjab for enquiry.
Rawalpindi RPO Imran Ahmar said that issuing a warrant against the interior minister is a normal procedure. He denied sending a team to arrest Sanaullah.
RPO Ahmar said that this is an anti-corruption case and Punjab Police has nothing to do with it.
