ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will not participate in the regional stakeholders’ conference on Afghanistan – scheduled to be held in Moscow this week – a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) said on Thursday.
In the weekly press briefing, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch told reporters that Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan are in harmony on many important issues and currently we do not want to reveal any specific agenda under discussion between the three.
Last week, Russia’s Special Presidential Envoy for Afghanistan, Director of the Second Asian Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Zamir Kabulov, told TASS that a meeting on Afghanistan will be held in Moscow.
