According to an official statement, the decision was taken in a six-hour-long meeting of the heads of PDM’s coalition parties chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
A high-level meeting was called after Prime Minister’s meeting with senior vice president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) Maryam Nawaz in Lahore.
Officials aware of the meeting said that Maryam Nawaz had a detailed meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and discussed the party’s future strategy to deal with the PTI chairman.
In its statement, the ruling coalition condemned as “unacceptable” the attacks on police and Rangers personnel who were obeying court orders at the direction of the PTI chairman – rejecting claims of the ousted prime minister being removed from power. done. through a vote of no confidence in April last year.
Expressing solidarity with the officers and men of the state institutions, the meeting decided to take strict action against the lawless elements as per the law. The meeting termed attacks on law enforcement agencies as anti-state which cannot be tolerated.
“The entire nation has testified that PTI is not a political party but a group of trained militants,” the statement said, adding that in view of the evidence and evidence, action will be taken in accordance with the law in this regard. It was decided.

Referring to the PTI chief’s “bail package”, the ruling coalition said the judicial system’s treatment of Khan and his associates deepened the perception that the scale was not balanced. “Two different standards of justice in one country are not acceptable,” the declaration said.
