ISLAMABAD – In a series of controversial audio leaks of senior politicians, the voices of former defense minister allegedly discussing Imran Khan’s disqualification in the Tosha Khana case have gone viral.

In the audio leak, a senior PTI minister can be heard directing workers to protest the former prime minister’s disqualification by the higher election authority.

All the workers should know that the decision of Tosha Khana is coming, it is good if Imran Khan is spared, he further said that if the decision is taken against the PTI chief, there should be protests in all the districts.

A voice from Khattak described the matter as serious and said there should be a strong protest, as he directed the workers to block all roads to flex the muscles.

Earlier it was reported that former Prime Minister Imran Khan has given his party members a 72-hour deadline to ensure that their container is ready by the end of the week for the long march to the capital. .

The sword of incompetence is hanging over the PTI chairman.

All eyes are on the Supreme Election Authority of Pakistan, which is going to announce its decision in the Tosha Khana case against ousted Prime Minister Imran Khan at 2 pm today.

The Election Commission of Pakistan had earlier reserved its decision last month in a reference seeking disqualification of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief for not declaring gifts from the state gift fund.

In this regard, the election monitoring body has directed all the concerned parties to appear at its secretariat in the federal capital.

As the Sharif-led ruling coalition predicted the disqualification of a defector politician, the ECP approached the district administration for foolproof security at the time of the decision, as PTI workers might storm the office.

The development came on the basis of a reference filed by PDM, an alliance of political parties, demanding Imran Khan’s disqualification.

PML-N legislator Barrister Mohsin Nawaz Ranjha had argued that PTI chiefs Sadiq and Amin were no more because they failed to declare the gifts they received from Tosha Khana.

In the previous hearing, Khan’s legal counsel Barrister Ali Zafar told the ECP that his client had sold at least four gifts during 2018-19.

When a member of the top electoral body inquired about the source of income used to buy gifts from Tosha Khana, the lawyer refrained from giving details but revealed that the former prime minister received Rs 17 lakh during 2019-20. Gifts received.

He said that the details of gifts received by Imran Khan as Prime Minister till 2021 have been provided in the written reply. Barrister Zafar said that the income earned by selling gifts has been declared in his client’s income tax returns. He said that tax was paid on income of Rs 58 million.

Earlier in 2021, after the Tosha Khana case came to light, an independent and independent enforcement agency accepted a request on the matter to the Cabinet Division regarding gifts received by former Prime Minister Imran Khan from foreign dignitaries. Information was directed to be provided.
