PM Shahbaz Sharif left for a two-day visit to UAE.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif left for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today (Thursday) on a two-day official visit.

The spokesperson of the Foreign Office said in a press release on Tuesday that the Prime Minister is visiting the UAE at the invitation of the President of the UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The prime minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation including important members of the cabinet.

This is the Prime Minister’s third visit to the UAE after assuming the post of Prime Minister.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will meet with the President of the United Arab Emirates, in which they will especially discuss the promotion of economic, trade and investment relations between the two brotherly countries and the creation of opportunities for the Pakistani workforce in the UAE. .

The two leaders will also discuss various regional and global issues of mutual interest.

The Prime Minister will also meet the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will meet Emirati businessmen and investors to discuss ways to increase bilateral trade and investment.

The UAE is home to around 1.7 million Pakistanis who have been instrumental in the UAE’s success story for the past five decades and have contributed to the growth, prosperity and economic development of the two brotherly countries.

“Pakistan and the UAE enjoy close and fraternal relations based on common faith and traditions, shared history and heritage; deep cultural affinity, geographical proximity and identity of ideology on many regional and global issues.

Regular high-level exchanges and visits are a key feature of this relationship.
