ISLAMABAD: Tajikistan President Imam Ali Rehman is arriving in Pakistan on a two-day official visit on Wednesday.
During the visit, the two sides will discuss further strengthening of bilateral cooperation in various fields. Several bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding are expected to be signed.
It is expected that the Tajikistan President’s visit to Pakistan will deepen cooperation between the two countries in various fields and strengthen the growing geo-economic partnership.
In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Pakistan and Tajikistan are brotherly countries linked by long historical, cultural and religious ties.
He said, “These relations are marked by mutual respect and extraordinary harmony. Both countries share common views on various regional and international issues.”
