ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday has strictly instructed all Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) not to use vehicles above 1800 cc. According to JEE News reports, the prime minister’s directive is part of the government’s austerity drive to ease the burden on the state treasury and support the economy.
The Prime Minister also directed officers not to use SUVs and sedans above 1800cc. The Cabinet Division has sent a letter to Police, FIA, Customs and Customs Intelligence in this regard.
