Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday announced his departure for the International Conference on Resilient Pakistan in Geneva, which aims to provide support to rebuild the country after the devastating floods.
On Twitter, the Prime Minister said that he would take the opportunity to present the case of the flood victims to the world and highlight the measures taken by the government for relief and rehabilitation.
“We will flexibly present a comprehensive framework plan for post-disaster recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction to development partners and friendly countries. Bridging the funding gap will restore critical infrastructure, rebuild lives and livelihoods. New and key to economic recovery,” the Prime Minister wrote.
