Senior PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said that the Prime Minister’s office has become “chowk bin gaya hai” after several alleged audios of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s cipher went viral, JEE News reported.
Speaking to private media, Fawad Chaudhry said that the recent audio leaks prove that nothing is safe in Pakistan and the agencies should die of shame.
He added that the way the audio leaks are coming out shows that the Prime Minister’s house was tampered with and it is an embarrassment to the agencies deployed for the security of the Prime Minister’s House.
According to The News, Fawad said that the leaks are a source of embarrassment for nuclear-armed Pakistan at the global level.
He said that what is discussed openly can be discussed differently in the drawing room. He said that it is strange that these clips are only related to Imran and no one else. He said that it is damaging the political environment in the country.
The former minister said that the entire content of these clips is considered extraordinary. To a question, he denied that such videos would make PTI workers disgusted with Imran Khan.
In response to a question regarding the resignations of 123 MNAs of PTI, he said that it is strange that the endorsement of the resignations of Qasim Suri is not acceptable to the current speaker of the National Assembly, Raja Pervez Ashraf. “They should accept all resignations and there should not be any selection and political manipulation,” he said.
